I am a student in middle school that is an avid reader, I have wrote reviews before and am very qualified to write this review. With every turn of the page of A Monster Calls by, Patrick Ness, you dive deeper and deeper into a suspenseful plot, you will not be able to set down this book. Patrick Ness went to the University of Southern California, some of his other books, include A Knife Of Never Letting Go, as well as More Than This. My opinion of A Monster Calls is that it is one of the best fantasy books I have read, the only complaint about this book I would have, is that in some parts of the book, it was lacking some action. Overall I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. A Monster Calls is about a boy named Conor whose mom is dying of cancer, and Conor keeps having a reoccurring nightmare. When he has the dream, he wakes up every time at 12:07 A.M. When he wakes up one night there is a monster in his backyard that is made out of a yew tree. The monster during the day is just a plain old yew tree in the cemetery behind Conor's house. The monster tells Conor three stories which lead up to an ending that finally tells you what you have been waiting for the entire book. An example in this book, that lead me to say that it was slow in some parts, was that in between stories, there were a lot of parts that I felt were unnecessary. Also, leading up to the first story I felt there was some nonsense. If I had to compare this to a book I have read, I couldn't, because it is completely off in its own awesome category. The type of person that would enjoy this book, would be someone that has a love for fantasy books, or someone that likes a sort of spooky story.

If you're looking for a story about a bright, spirited orphan girl who finds love and adventure, then look no further. Anne will capture your heart and never let go. Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert wanted a boy from the orphanage to help with the farmwork. When Matthew goes to the train station to pick him up, he only finds Anne Shirley, a talkative, redheaded girl with a bright imagination and a big heart. A search for answers tells the Cuthberts that someone told Mrs. Spencer the Cuthberts wanted a girl. Marilla thinks of sending Anne back to the orphanage, but Matthew persuades Marilla to open up her heart to the girl. Marilla eventually decides to keep Anne, and so Anne's adventures full of humor and heart begin. From making a friend, Diana Barry, to making enemies, Gilbert Blythe and Josie Pye, to naming everyday things you'd see like a lake, or a flower tree, Anne will find something to dream about. Read this book, please!

The BFG, Big Friendly Giant. It is such an entertaining book and truly explains true friendship with a girl named Sophie, and a BIG giant. Or, maybe not that big, compared to the other giants! All the other giants want to eat humans. Every night, the giants such as, Fleshlumpeater, bone cruncher, and all the other giants go and gobbling up humans and what they call kids, `Little chiddlers`. Only the BFG stayed, he doesn't want to eat humans, he usually irregular things, that`s why he isn't as big as the other giants. he usually stays at home while he watches the other giants going to eat humans. Not until Sophie came along. Will they expose the giants？Will they actually get the trust for the queen of England to stop them？Will Sophie be eaten by one of the giants？Find out more in this incredible book! The reading level is about 8+, but challenge yourself anytime!

I wasn't sure whether or not I should post individual reviews on each book in the trilogy.... I ultimately decided to kill three birds with one stone- er, book review. (They DO say the pen is mightier than the sword.) As someone who's read all the FunJungle novels and is currently in the middle of the Spy School series, I'd have to say the Moon Base Alpha books were by far the best. I wish Stuart Gibbs made more, but alas! He didn't. Anyway, it's the future, and Dashiell (Dash) Gibson (fun fact! he's named after Stuart's son) lives on a space station. On the MOON. Sounds like a dream experience, right? Wrong. The food is horrible, and there's only so much you can do with your virtual reality systems. So, Dash resorts to what any 12 year-old kid would do to pass the time- solving mysteries! Each book is chock-full of twists, turns, action, and laughter. Even if you're not into space, (I'm not! I thought I'd like FunJungle better, because I'm an animal lover, but I didn't!) you should still give this book a try. With its quirky characters, astounding world-building, and sensational suspense, Moon Base Alpha is one of the best series I've ever read!

This book is perfect for Minecraft fans or gamers. Most of the books can be read on an app called epic.

This book is about Steve and how he has a village that is hit by a Zombie Siege, and he wants to get a diamond sword so he can stop the zombies and finds a trio that wants to help him. He and Henry, Max and Lucy. Steve also goes on an adventure to the nether and gains a portal to the End. He and his friends get a lot of obsidian and kill the Ender Dragon, the most fierce creature in all of Minecraft. Steve and his friends fight a lot of zombies and kills the most powerful zombie, and has a party in his house with all his friends.

Honestly, the cover looks really intense. It turns out, Mickey Mouse, a beloved 90 year celebrated character by Walt Disney, must go to the Cartoon Wasteland, a land where forgotten cartoon characters live. And, Mickey must stop the Beetleworx!

Hey, Hey, make way! For Cassie Cyan Knight, that's who! When Case he's dad Paul gets a new job, the family moves to blah-blah Maine (No offense to those who live there, DUH!). Cassie has to leave her friends, Texas and the warm air!! But when Cassie makes a friend of Etoile, which means star, things look up! But with Mean Mary Ellen McGinty trying to ruin Cassie, can their fashion show charity event be a success, or will it be a flop?

This is one of the best books I've ever read. It is funny and interesting. You can really not stop reading this book till you're finished.
